Voorjaar 2026

 

Volgend jaar moet, nu ja, ga , ik toch maar eens beginnen met zaaiwerk in de tuin. Kwam dit blokje van Finland tegen met wat potentiele mogelijkheden in de afdeling groente en fruit. Overigens heeft Finland geweldige uitgiftes qua vormgeving, onderwerpen en ook aantallen. Misschien eens iets van een album scoren en apart houden. Alhoewel, weer een.... 

postcrossing

Leuke zegels uitgegeven door Finland dit jaar. Postcrossing promotie, vind dat geweldig, deze zegels dus. Zijn er nog andere landen behalve Finland en Nederland die postcrossingzegels hebben uitgegeven ?? Lees het graag. De Finse zegels hebben een behoorlijk formaat en laten wat minder ruimte over voor de boodschap op de kaart voor de ontvanger m/v. Laat de zegels hieronder zien.

Topics

Leuke serie uit Finland. Deze zegels heb ik even vergroot bekeken omdat het een landbouwthema betreft. Uit welk jaar deze uitgave is ben ik nog niet uit. Kippen zijn er niet op te vinden, wel een grote snoek die die jongens op zegel 1 hebben gevangen, zou mooi in mijn vissenverzameling kunnen passen. Eigenlijk verzamel ik teveel en moet e.e.a. eens heroverwegen. Kan van de winter misschien.

Finse Haan

 

Fraaie zegel uit Finland met de afbeelding van een haan. Uitgave van 2013, 8 maart. Je ziet een postfris exemplaar op een verder leeg velletje van 10 stuks. Ook een gebruikt exemplaar. Alles samen in een enveloppe waar er ook nog een opzat. Dank aan Leo voor deze fraaie zegels. Finland heeft zeer leuke zegels die het sparen best de moeite waard maken. Ze gaan allemaal in een apart stockboek tegenwoordig, misschien komt er nog eens een "invul" album, hoewel de jaarlijke supplementen inmiddels wel een rib uit mijn lijf gaan vormen.

Postcrossing

Heb er wel eens wat over geschreven, Postcrossing.  Een leuke wijze om vanuit de gehele wereld (nu er zijn wat witte vlekken waar men wel wat beters te doen heeft dan postzegels verzamelen of kaarten rond te sturen) kaarten te krijgen. Het enige wat je moet doen is zelf ook verzenden. In mijn profiel, waar heb je dat niet,  staat o.a. dat ik kaarten met kippen erop leuk vind. Nu zie je die niet overal. Had deze week een kaart uit Portugal en de verzendster had maar een probleem, geen kaart met kippen te vinden. Leo uit Finland stuurde , vandaag binnen, een fraaie kipenkaart, laat hem jullie ook even zien

 

Nice card from Leo, Finland. In the Postcrossing trade and mail a postcardgroup. Its hard to find cards with chickens in some countries. But when I got one its great. Like playing in the Postcrossing game.

Finland

Als ik dergelijke zegels zie, zoals nu voor The Stamp Game, word ik gewoon blij. Blij dat er nog landen zijn die een geweldig beleid hebben voor wat betreft nieuwe uitgiften. In mijn optiek is Finland zo'n land. Altijd leuke en mooie zegels, gewoon te verkrijgen daar op het postkantoor. Het zijn toch gewoon plaatjes die een lust voor het oog zijn?  Hoewel ik Finland niet specifiek spaar, zal ik er toch wel wat uithalen, vissen en slakken hebben mijn aandacht ook, weer eens wat anders dan kippen.

He mailed me this last stamp. Like that and put it in my collection, the sheet I mean. Orderd some Dutch personalized stamps last Sunday, show them later when they arrive.

Holidays

This year have had our second holidays, now almost a week in Germany. (see card)

When I got back today two covers with nice things in and on the cover, show one from Witti with Aland personalized stamp on it. (and one inside) . Think thats my first of that country or is Finland the country ??

Personal stamps from Finland

Here 4 great personalized stamps from Finland. These special issued stamps are for the cellebration of the Finnish railroads this year. They are 150 years young now. You see 4 old postcards from the railwaystation of Kerava. Kerava is a place in the North of Finland and is the first railroads from Helsinki to the north of Finland. The stamps were issued by the residents of Kerava. Good idea to do so, you will have nice stamps and local history too. The 4 cards are between over 100 years till over 50 years old. The station is still the same on all cards, on the last you see two tracks , they move the whole building some meters away to build that track. In the 150 years there were several modernisations done of course.

Thanks to Leo for the nice stamps and the story that goes with them.  On the cover also one stamp, no time for cancellation -again- in Finland....

Great cover and personal chickenstamps

When you "play" postcrossing you get a mail every month with your statistics. How many day's your mailbox was happy this month is one for instance. Last week my mailbox was also happy, not by postcrossing but a wonderfull personalized stamp from Leo  in Finland. Nor oly my mailbox was happy, that you can understand. What you see is a detail of a piece of graffiti "art"on a building at his place. Very nice to make a personalized stamp from that and mailed it to me. Strange, very indeed,  I made last week also a special personalized stamp for him. Bad that I mixed up with his topics so I have to see if he likes that stamp too. The stamp has a facevalue 1st class (Europe), we here in The Netherlands could order these since the first of Februari of this year, also for the World.  I did not order those, maybe later, but I prefer to use two personalized stamps local value, will be enough for Europe and the World.

Mail from Finland

This cover I received last week, thanks to Leo.  A lot of stamps inside from my topics, also a nice cover from Sweden which has a chickencancellation ( Glad Päsk) on an 12 kronen Europa  stamp of 2011.

Will keep the cover in my chickencollection. Also some "Forever Stampexchangers inside, so again a lot of "work". Keep that for the winter and now we still have summer overhere.

Here you see a Minisheet, or is it a salessheet which has 5 nice stamps in it from Finland. Think this way of selling special stamps is great and an example for other post administrations, or firms, businessunits or what you like to call the private post today. Cover from Finland

Show you the cover where the personalized stamps of my last posting  were in. Very nice stamps  on this cover and also a great cancellation of the postmuseum, see scan detail. Maybe the stamp with the car was tried to pull of because the corner is damaged. This stamp was issued when Kimi Räikkönen became World Champion F1 races in 2007. The other stamp with the owl is a very nice one. Think they are more creative with stamps in Finland then here in The Netherlands....

Personalized stamps from Finland

Last week I received some very nice pesonalized stamps from Leo (Finland).  As you can see also 4 different frames were used for these stamps. Thanks Leo, for these nice stamps. Think I have to soak them, but I have no experience with soaking personalized stamps from Finand.

cancellation

As a collector from -also- Danish used stamps I like to receive mail from Denmark. Sometimes it is hard for the mailman to put cancellations on the stamps. This letter did have a fragcancellation on the backsite of the envelop. I see it more often these day's. Finland, Canada for instance do have also this "problem". Still nice stamps and even if they have no cancellation, they are used.

personalized stamps

This week started great. Nice personalized stamps from Leo, Finland. This time with a very nice cancellation on it. He did go to the postoffice to get them on the cover. I have some covers with personalized stamps that dont have a cancellation.

I won't soak these from the cover, still very rare, personalized stamps on a cover don't you think? The snailmail stamps, as he called them, were on a very quick delivery. Cancellation in Finland 2010-01-15 and on my doormat 2010-01-18 so 3 day's for a letter Finland-The Netherlands, very good I think.
Yesterday also a nice one, but I show that tomorrow....

More transparant

A few days ago I showed the transparant stamp of Finland. It is hard to see on my pictures. Leo from Finland did have a good idea about this. Here you see the stamp of Finland on top of a chickenstamp from Turkey. It shows clearly (!!) the transparancy of this nice stamp.

Hier zie je de eerste transparante zegel uit Finland, overigens gedrukt bij John. Enschede, die ik op een Turkse kippenpostzegel gelegd heb. Je ziet duidelijk de afbeelding van de laatste doorschijnen door de Finse zegel. Dank aan Leo voor het idee van presenteren.

Frosty Night special transparant stamp.

Did receive a nice Finnish stamp from a friend. Its the worlds first transparant stamp. Issued in 2008. Show this Finnish stamp (the most beautiful one of 2008) in two versions. One with a black backgroud and one with a white one.

De Finse post heeft een verkiezing gehouden voor de mooiste postzegel van 2008. Van de in totaal 53571 uitgebrachte stemmen gingen er om precies te zijn 9710 - bijna eenvijfde dus - naar de zegel ‘Frosty Night’. Ik laat hierna twee afbeeldingen zien, eenmaal met een zwarte achterkant en een gewone "witte" via de scanner. Leuk deze zegel, het gebruikte materiaal is volgens mij een transparante kunststof doch welke weet ik -nog- niet.
