Penny Black

Het is natuurlijk de eerste postzegel ooit,  de penny black van Engeland.

Nu is het verzamelen van deze zegels -denkelijk- een dure hobby, zal dat eens na moeten kijken. Cataloguswaarde ca € 200.= voor een zegel.
Nu kun je ook zegel op zegel verzamelen en dan specialiseren op deze penny black,  is een stuk goedkoper en ook leuk.
Deze kwam ik tegen bij The StampGame. Ga er eens op letten.

Themaverzamelingen

In Nederland verzamelden de meeste mensen in de oude tijd meestal Nederland en OG, wat voor Overzeese Gebiedsdelen staat. Nu is dat anno 2016 een heel stuk minder. Veel Nederland verzamelaars zijn in de loop van de tijd afgehaakt. De eeuwwisseling en overgang van gulden naar euro waren ook goeie smoezen en/of redenen om daarmee te stoppen. Er wordt m.i. nu veel meer verzameld op thema, ook omdat rijpere Nederland verzamelaars natuurlijk bijna compleet zijn en die paar laatste zegels een behoorlijke aanslag op je budget kunnen en zullen zijn. Nu heb ik ook een Nederland verzameling die gewoon in de kast staat en waar niets aan toegevoegd wordt. De enige Nederlandse zegels die ik af en toe aanschaf zijn voor verzenden van af een toe een verkocht item op Marktplaats of naar medeverzamelaars in het buitenland.  Inmiddels heb ik wel wat thema's die leuk zijn om te verzamelen. Onderstaande zegel geeft zo'n 3 tal thema's die ik wel leuk vind. Kippen, vissen en koeien, die laatste meer voor mijn kleindochter, mocht ze ooit zegels gaan verzamelen.

Brazilië heeft dit leuke paartje uitgegeven in 2014.

Topics

Leuke serie uit Finland. Deze zegels heb ik even vergroot bekeken omdat het een landbouwthema betreft. Uit welk jaar deze uitgave is ben ik nog niet uit. Kippen zijn er niet op te vinden, wel een grote snoek die die jongens op zegel 1 hebben gevangen, zou mooi in mijn vissenverzameling kunnen passen. Eigenlijk verzamel ik teveel en moet e.e.a. eens heroverwegen. Kan van de winter misschien.

Belarus and Postcrossing

Today a nice postcard from Belarus. Natasha mailed me this one, she also "does"  Postcrossing.  

Nice to see she read my information there, nice stampcard with stamps of Belarus which is now 20 years young. The stamps are all issued there and have the topic WWF. As you see the chicken is not on the WWF list ;-)

This week I received 3 cards and mailed 2 cards. Maybe put some more on in the PostNL mailbox soon.

Koeien, Cows new stamps

Eindelijk weer eens wat herkenbare Nederlandse zegels. Oude runderrassen op postzegels. Zo moeten zegels eruit zien, duidelijk herkenbaar en aansprekend voor de nederlanders. De laatste tijd zijn het vaak zoekplaatjes waarbij een a4tje uitleg hoort/komt van wat de ontwerper/ster bedoeld met deze zegel.

Er zullen mensen zijn die daar anders over denken, dat mag.  Zelf ben ik blij weer eens wat leuks in huis te hebben om weg te plakken.

Snail mail

Here you see my compleet stamp, as I told yesterday my first personalized Europastamps. Facevalue now € 0,85 but when the price is going up this one too will have more facevalue. Hope Leo likes these stamps, snailmail stamps. When you collect these as a topic you have to look very carfully to find one or more. This issue could help and maybe there will be more. I like this snail for his colours, no idea whats its name is. The picture I found on the www, thanks for that.. Maybe ordered this picture also in local value stamps.

Cancellations Mouse and Elephant

Some collectors like topics. Here a nice cancellation if you like elephants on stamps or cancels.

Found this card with a nice cancellation of 100 years Zoo in Koln( Germany) in 1960. As you can see there are two the same cancellations, no idea why there are 2. When you look carfully you see the young elephant running away for a little mouse. (also a nice topic). If this card came to the right address is not sure.  It is said 'wrong delivery', so its not certain that the card from Tante Cor, Oom Otto, Tante Miep and Richard was read by the Nieuwenhuizen family.

Kuifje aka TinTin

Vorige week enveloppe uit Belgie met fraaie zegels van Kuifje.  Belgie is natuurlijk de geboorteplaats van TinTin. Nu heb ik deze boeken vroeger verslonden, net denkelijk als veel van mijn leefdtijdsgenoten. Ook nu zijn de albums nog erg populair, zelfs inmiddels verfilmd. Bewaar uiteraard alle Kuifjeszegels en ruil ze niet. Zou ik er dan een topic bijhebben ?  Ja en neen, niet fanatiek maar toch.....  

Basketball

Also have a topic in collecting called "basketball".  Did receive last week from my Philatelicfriend Niels (Denmark) a very nice one of this topic from Canada. You see a ball and a basket, have to find out whats the story about this. Maybe a start of the development of that sport. If you know, let us too.

train at Station Hemmen-Dodewaard

Here you see a personalized stamp with a train. This train goes from Arnhem to Tiel and then it comes also in our village. Do find it a nice picture for a stamp and so here we are. There are a lot of people who only collect stamps with trains. A nice topic. I will stay with this one and maybe later one more with a also a view of our old station. Show also a small picture of the station.

Op ons station Hemmen-Dodewaard passert een trein, Dat doen ze wel meer, elk half uur een van Arnhem naar Tiel en omgekeerd. Vond het een leuke foto en heb er een persoonlijke postzegel van gemaakt. Er zijn veel mensen die postzegels sparen met als motief treinen. Zal er best wat kwijt raken aan verzamelaars van dit motief. Zelf is het leuk persoonlijke zegels te maken van de omgeving waar je woon. Komt waarschijnlijk nog wel eens een treintje bij.

When you look carefully to this stamp you see that it's good for topiccollectors.

See a fish, could use that in my collection fish. See a lighthouse, even it is small. Must this stamp also in such a collection? What are the rules to that? Also you can see a biker, so if you collect bikes than its also a must for your collection? There is more topic on it : mailboxes, trees, birds?

Just see what to do with it. Keep it or asked friends if they need it for their topic...

FDC Antillen Dutch

Do have some of this kind of FDC's with fauna-stamps on them. If somebody like to trade them for some chichenstamps or a nice postcard, let me know. Did not have much time for this blog the last week. Also visit my grand- and daughter and that takes also time.....

Also produce some personal stamps with nice topics. Soon a new lighthouse stamp will be on the market. This FDC shows three nice flowers, Issued on July 20th 1977. I think "our" Antilles have to many issue's for such a small country. But when I look here it is almost the same now. A lot of collectors think its to many new stamps and to expensive. Also you don't know what to collect. Stamps, sheets, prestige booklets, FDC,personal stamps, every year new "definitive" stamps and a lot more. You need an extra boss or have a lot of €€€€€€€€€ or $$$$$$$$ to buy it all.

Basketball

I do have, as I called them, some side collections. One of these collections are stamps with a basketball theme. Just show you a stamp from the Philipinas. When you see the stamp it looks like a olympic issue, but there is also information about : 1970 Philatelic week. Also the value 10s, but also the word TEN. A lot of questions for me about this stamp......
