Oude FDC gebruiken.

Eergisteren kwamen er twee zendingen van, wat ik de 100 club noem.  Kijk maar eens op 
https://100stamps.club , zie je wat ik bedoel.
Nu was er een zending uit Oostenrijk , zie de afbeelding hieronder.

 
De verzender gebruikt een FDC om ze zegels te verzenden, moet dan wel postzegels met een geldig tarief bijplakken. Ga dat doen met de eerstvolgende zendingen die ik doe,  met dank aan Wolfgang,

Ontvangen covers 100 club

Dit is de AT 525.  Een grappige wijze om zegels te versturen. Een FDC van je land (denkelijk ook in Oostenrijk niet duur meer ), Frankeren en versturen aan de ontvanger. Denk dat ik dat ook maar eens ga doen.
 

Leuke enveloppe 100/100 club.

 

Deze FDC werd -omgebouwd- tot een normale verzendenveloppe. Een verrassing in de bus uit Oostenrijk met weer ruim 100 zegels. AT 590 was deze zending.  Leuke zegels in deze enveloppe. Steek ze steeds in een stockboek, doch uitzoeken komt later. Ben een beetje, wat heet beetje, druk met andere dingen momenteel. De verzender had goed gekeken naar mijn interesses.  Vissen. met natuurlijk een extra zegel om de verzendkosten te betalen, leuke koe, ook in mijn vraagprogramma.

Marktplaats kippenenveloppe.

Koop je wat zegels op Marktplaats en krijg je zo'n enveloppe. Geweldig om dat te ontvangen. Ga er van uit dat de verkoper van de zegels toch even een van mijn sites bezocht heeft en toevallig nog zo'n enveloppe had liggen. Even uitgezocht waar deze FDC thuishoort. Äland 1989, laat hem ook nog even zien.

Zegel zonder kip doch vanwege het 350 jarig bestaan van scholen in Äland(neem ik aan) Dank Ad voor de leuke enveloppe.

Chickenstamp from Tonga

Nice cover with cancellations and two (?) stamps. One with a chicken and a cancel, one without a cancellation. Also in the mail from Laura. First stamps from Tonga for me, nice that's a chicken too.

Do have this FDC for trade or exchange, very special stamps with moving scaters.  Mail me if you are interested in this one...

Afweken of niet ?

Mooie FDC van Suriname met de Paasweldadigheids zegels van 1971. Nu is het aanbod van dit soort FDC's momenteel overweldigend. Je kunt ze bijna per kilo kopen voor enkele euro's. De wet van vraag en aanbod speelt tegenwoordig een grote rol.  Voor onze overzeese gebiedsdelen, voormalige moet ik schrijven, geldt dat evenals een groot deel van de Nederlandse FDC's.  Je kunt de zegels er wel afweken natuurlijk, heb je een mooie serie voor enkele dubbeltjes. Of de waarde van dergelijke gestempelde zegels hetzelfde is als gebruikt waag ik te betwijfelen. Deze zegels zal ik afweken en wel voor de haan, welke in mijn collectie kippenzegels zal plaatsnemen. Nu ik dit schrijf denk ik dat ik hem al postfris heb.(nagekeken  en inderdaad) Zal hem toch afweken en erbij doen. Naast deze FDC nog een tweetal aangeschaft op de laatste clubavond beiden met ook 1 zegel die ik kan gebuiken of ruilen met een postzegelvriend.

FDC New Hebrides

Very nice FDC with a nice rooster, a Frence one. Its from the New Hebrides and the stamps were issued on June 2nd 1978, because the Queen of England, Elizabeth II was 25 years in command. What the French cock has to do with that cellebration I really don't know. There is also a German horse on a stamp. Both animals are looking to teh Queen.  ??? for me.  Show also the cancellation on these stamps in detail.

FDC Bénin

On of the First Day Covers I have in my collection. Show a chicken (rooster) and a turkey, think also a male. As you know males are the most nicest types in nature and I believe it's also with men.... Only as a man you mostly see this different.....

If you have any chickenstamps,coins, banknotes or so and want to trade them for stamps, let me know.

FDC Antillen Dutch

Do have some of this kind of FDC's with fauna-stamps on them. If somebody like to trade them for some chichenstamps or a nice postcard, let me know. Did not have much time for this blog the last week. Also visit my grand- and daughter and that takes also time.....

Also produce some personal stamps with nice topics. Soon a new lighthouse stamp will be on the market. This FDC shows three nice flowers, Issued on July 20th 1977. I think "our" Antilles have to many issue's for such a small country. But when I look here it is almost the same now. A lot of collectors think its to many new stamps and to expensive. Also you don't know what to collect. Stamps, sheets, prestige booklets, FDC,personal stamps, every year new "definitive" stamps and a lot more. You need an extra boss or have a lot of €€€€€€€€€ or $$$$$$$$ to buy it all.

Busy week

This week was very busy for me.(And you don't want to know about next week......) Nice to see that the mail (snail one) is still working here.

Did get some nice covers from China, Portugal, USA and The Netherlands and the week still has one day to go.

Show you the FDC from China I got from a new contact for me. Don't know how he find my address and where, but my information is on my blog of course.

The stamp is for The World Summer Games in Shanghai 2007. They are special olympics but I could not find any information about the issue. Is it one stamp or are there more?

Will return a nice cover for this wonderfull FDC.

Christmas Island

The Territory of Christmas Island is a small, non-self-governing territory of Australia located in the Indian Ocean, 2600 kilometres (1600 mi) northwest of Perth in Western Australia and 500 kilometres (300 mi) south of Jakarta, Indonesia.
It maintains about 1,600 residents who live in a number of "settlement areas" on the northern tip of the island: Flying Fish Cove (also known as Kampong), Settlement, Silver City , Poon Saan and Drumsite.
It has a unique natural topography and is of immense interest to scientists and naturalists due to the number of species of endemic flora and fauna which have evolved in isolation[1] and undisturbed by human habitation.
While there has been mining activity on the island for many years, 65% of its 135 square kilometres (52 sq mi) are now National Park and there are large areas of pristine and ancient rainforest.

First Day Cover

After 200 postages and more it is possible you have seen this one before. Why I show it to you? It is my favorite FDC, because with an original drawing there must be only one of them. In The Netherlands we don't have such "homemade" First Day Covers. Only official ones. The last 25-30 years they are not so wanted anymore, maybe to much "philatelic products" on the market. I would like more of these covers with chickens, but where to find??
