Postzegelbeurs in Tiel

Vandaag even naar de beurs geweest die onze De Globe collegaclub  in Tiel had georganiseerd. Heel wat semi-handelaren daar en een gigantisch aanbod van postzegels. Ook voor liefhebbers van munten was er een stand.Gezellig druk en ook nog wat bekenden gezien daar. Heb eigenlijk alleen een ouder velletje persoonlijke zegels aangeschaft van de Tielse club, voor de zegel en gewoon als te gebruiken op brieven aan medeverzamelaars.

Binnen de persoonlijke zegeluitgiftes is een verzameling van alleen uitgiftes van postzegelverenigingen al een leuk onderwerp. Laat er wat zien.

Zweden

Ben begonnen met het uitzoeken van enkele stockboeken met -over het algemeen- gebruikte zegels van Zweden. Heb een paar jaar geleden dit verzamelgebied erbij genomen. Zweedse zegels hebben in mijn optiek nog een uitstraling van vroeger. Degelijke gegraveerde zegels met heldere ontwerpen.

Een leuk verzamel gebied waar veel zegels voor weinig geld te vinden zijn. Ruilen op de club, niet echt ruilen maar de moderne variant : stuiverboeken. Je maakt er zelf wat en zoekt op de clubavonden naar zegels die je kunt gebruiken in de boeken van medeverzamelaars. Ook op Marktplaats kun je wel zegels vinden en uiteraard ook te koop aanbieden.  Laat wat leuke zegels zien.

Pariwisata 1988

Op de laatste clubavond, afgelopen week, dit blokje gekocht. Zat in een z.g. 5centsboek doch heb het dubbele betaald. Laat het even zien op mijn blog doch ben , ondanks google, niet  veel wijzer over wat de reden is voor deze uitgave. Mijn Maleis of Javaans is helemaal niets... Zag wel dat er op EBAY  een wordt aangeboden voor $ 17,99. Nu gaat het mij natuurlijk om de twee kemphanen. Ze zijn van een verschillend ras maar welk ? Leuke aanvulling in mijn kippenverzameling.

 

 

November auction at our stampclub

Almost every month, not in the summer, we have a small auction at our local stampclub. Here you see some of the items that were sold (or not). Also some pictures from that meeting here.

Maybe next time some information about our chickens, the eggproduction did start last week and we don't have to buy them in the shop anymore.........

Decemberstamps 2009-2

You can -of course- also make your own design in the TNT shop of the December stamps.
Almost every picture is possible. Show here the one I made for a group of stampcollectors I am in. ANSC you can find it in the Yahoo groups. Nothing to do with December or Christmas. Its for the whole year, collecting stamps and talk with friends about them.

This week got a cover with a nice polarblock from Belgium. In the enveloppe stamps from "The StampGame" , like this nice small group. On the sheet the North- and SouthPole on a stamp. Don't like the new way to give a value to stamps. This is 1. Can look it up in my monthly magazine, who have also 1 or two pages with Belgian Stamp News.

Mooi om een enveloppe te ontvangen met dit soort postzegels erop. Een compleet "Polar" blok met twee zegels nr 1. Tarief voor Belgie binnenland tot 50 gram. Momenteel staat die 1 voor

€ 0,59 , best handig en lastig ook. Ik vind het handig om aan de hand van de tarieven een beetje idee te hebben uit welke periode een zegel komt, met die 1 en ook 1 Europa ( € 1,05) wordt dit wat lastiger. Het blok zat op een enveloppe van een rondzending van "The Stamp Game" een kleine leuke groep waar ik lid van ben.

Great British Monarchs

Sometimes you find nice cancallations on a cover. Just a cancellation who fits with the stamp on that cover. This one show a cancellation to promote stamps of Great Brittain. I got this cover on our local stampclub and need the stamp for my collection. Now I think I wait till I have a second one of 48p. If you want to know more about Britsh stamps : Royal Mail

De Royal Mail  promoot zijn eigen zegels. In dit gevan de serie Great British Monarchs die op 28 februari 2008 is uitgegegeven.  Een fraai stempel met een bijbehorende postzegel , machin,  van 48P. Deze enveloppe "gescoord" op onze maandelijke postzegelavond van mijn postzegelclub. Zal de of is het het zegel niet afweken doch op een volgende wachten. 

Trees at our local stampclub

In 2007 we have had 4 issue's with sheets with trees in the four seasons. You see the springsheet here.

Yesterday we did have the designer of these sheets at our local stampclub. Marlous Bervoets, who is living near by, did told us about how she became the order from TNT and how she started to get information about trees and more. Starting with a breefing, get a contract from 20 pages, the hurry and deadline of the order. Later on there was a delay of a year and also the value raised from € 0,39 to € 0,44.

It was a very nice evening and I did made some pictures. Show you some.

Brasil

Last week I did visit our stampclub meeting. It was nr 3 of the season and the first time I went.

Very busy evening with a lot of people there. I thing half the numers of the total members is a lot. At the meeting I found this stamp(?) besides some nice new chickenstamps which were not in my collection before and a lot of stamps for friends around the globe.

Do you know what kind of stamp this is? I would like to know.

Club meeting

Saw today's paper with the article of our local Globe Stamp Club. My picture is not that quality to show you........ Maybe another picture of this meeting will come soon here. Nice article about a small stampclub and how people did start with their collection. Some of the conclusions: Collection is also looking for stamps for friends or members; it's a grey world; brings a lot of fun and knowhowe,-where, -what and -who. Thanks to The Gelderlander for the picture......

Chickens on stamps

Did went to my stampclub yesterday. Nice evening with a new system for trade. Several members put in stockbooks with stamps. All stamps € 0,05 each. We had about 13 books with stamps to circulate. I did find some nice stamps, also one chickenstamp I did not have from Romenia. Also got a chickenstamps from a member, they all look for chickenstamps....

This member collect Elephants on stamps, so if you have one... let me know..

Also we have some members of the local press. ("De Gelderlander") They make every week a story about "clubs" there are in Gelderland, the province I live in. They take some pictures and interviews. Next Friday I show more about this, hope the picture will be good...!!

Also bought a box full of stamps/envelops and more, mostly USA, need more time....
