personalized family stamp

Here you see my last personalized stamp. Its an old picture of my father and his brothers and sisters.

They never thought they would be on a real poststamp and they will never now. I like to make such stamps even for not relatives they may be not that interesting. My father is the last one on top of this picture/stamp.

Could be I will issue more later. You can have a familytree of them...

chickenstamps

Today some nice chickenstamps from a stampfriend who lives in Slovenia. Three stamps from Slovenia itself, great stamps with hen and roosters. What the football is about, I have no idea. The other stamp is from Sweden, a nice rooster. I did have one but that one is in my collection Sweden( only used)  Another stamp with a rooster is from Swiss. Most stamps with poultry are with cocks, man are the most beautyfull animals  in nature. I see it also when I look in the mirror.....

personalized stamps

This week started great. Nice personalized stamps from Leo, Finland. This time with a very nice cancellation on it. He did go to the postoffice to get them on the cover. I have some covers with personalized stamps that dont have a cancellation.

I won't soak these from the cover, still very rare, personalized stamps on a cover don't you think? The snailmail stamps, as he called them, were on a very quick delivery. Cancellation in Finland 2010-01-15 and on my doormat 2010-01-18 so 3 day's for a letter Finland-The Netherlands, very good I think.
Yesterday also a nice one, but I show that tomorrow....

Church on personalized stamp

Here you see the Catholic Church at Hoofddorp. This church was founded in 1860, 8 years after the Haarlemmermeer (meer=lake, the lake was near Haarlem) was dry. That takes from 1849 till 1852. The main village was Hoofddorp, now its a modern town.
Joannes de Doper (the Baptizer) is the name of the church. Maybe its nice to know that my grandfather was a verger there in 1919, when my father was born there.
The parisch did make some personalized stamps, great to receive them from a friend there.

New Dutch Stamps

Today new stamps. TNT called them personalized stamps. New is the format and the fact that these stamps are so clled stickerstamps. Its a nice stamp with a lot of animals who live here in "De Waddenzee". Thats the sea at the top of The Netherlands till the isles there. Nice place also good for fishing.De Waddenzee is a world herritage place.

Friends

Do you also have friends who asked for special stamps on their packets or letters?
I do have one. The first packet was wasted with tape but after a mail the second one was better for me. Thanks for these nice stamps Bram. Have to soak a lot of stamps now....BTW you see a lot of "older" stamps these day's. I also use them if I sell some on Ebay or Delcampe....

Personal company stamps

Here you see two examples of personalised tabstamps,one with the name of a company.The other are children with a puppet, no idea if this is also from a company.
You also can order this stamps here. When you buy 1.000 pcs the costs are just the valueprice. You don't see much of these stamps on your own mail, but I know they out there. Better not soak this kind of stamps because then you have a tab and a stamp thats two but not the way you like it.
