Just my last production, A cock on a bike. Saw this picture somewhere and did like it. Could use this one in my chickenstampcollection and also nice for friends who like to collect all kind of bikes on stamps.

Forever stampexchangers

Deze week lagen er twee brieven op de mat met postzegels. Ik doe ook mee met de z.g. stampexchangers, forever staat er meestal voor. Meestal gaat het om 50 zegels die je ontvangt van iemand die op de lijst staat. Slechts 5 namen open is de laatste tijd gebruikelijk. Je kent het wel, je moet 50 zegels opsturen aan de eerste die "open" op de lijst staat, je eigen naw gegevens toevoegen en de mede filatelist ook voorzien van een kopietje van de nieuwe lijst.De nieuwe lijst moet je dan wel doorsturen aan een 5 tal medeverzamelaars anders is de kettingruilbrief niet zo "forever" meer. Meestal zitten er "gewone" zegels in doch af en toe ook bruikbare. De frankeringen op deze enveloppen verschillen nogal. Die uit Belgie maakt gebruik van oudere zegels met wat kleine nieuw Eurowaarden. Uit Australie een enveloppe met een zegel van $ 2,05 waarop een Dusky Dolfijn. Twee dus als je goed kijkt. Zag de zegel toevallig al aangeboden op Marktplaats voor € 1,90 (gebruikt...) Is het verstandiger meerdere lage waarden te plakken of een hogere waarde? Als je het weet mag je het zeggen.

This week some "Forever Stamp Exchangers" in my mail. Like that even most time the stamps are common. But not alway's. Some nice Australian new(for me) stamps in cover nr 2 that you see. If you like to join a exchanger let me know, I mail one ore 2 and also some Dutch stamps with them. Like both ways of stamps on these covers. Some old ones with small value stamps and one stamp with a higher value. What will be the best way you think? More stamps on the cover with a low value or one with a higher? Let us know.

Nice weather, don't you think?

The last days we did have nice weather. Maybe to hot for our standard. Could be we have to upgrade our expertations of the Celcius scale in the Summer. Global Warming. Leuke persoonlijke postzegel met een dame die de zomer wel op een originele wijze tegemoet treedt. Zou dit de toekomst zijn met de huidige opwarming van onze aarde? Grappig item voor verzamelaars van fietsen denk ik zo, of van rugtasjes.

I do have a lot of concepts for personalized stamps. Like this one but I like a lot of them. Maybe its not allowed to put our national logo on a personalized stamp. But as I see some of my last productions there is a lot you can order at our TNT. Big Brother is watching but not at our personalized stampsales organisation... Its also a lot of money when you order everything you like.

Personal stamps on normal mail

More and more I see personalized stamps in my mail. Not from people who don't collect stamps I have to admit. This one was on a cover from a friend which I exchange personalized Dutch stamps. Because of the nice weater this is all for 2day..

Donald Duck

More and more you see here in the Netherlands commercial issues of stamps. Personalized Minisheet of Donald Duck, in combination with 3 postcards and a card where you can subscribe to the Donald Duck Magazine with a discount. Show the cardboard packaging were everything is in. Still very popular that duck here, even under the youngsters of 50-70 year who grew up with this fellow. Below the minisheet of the 3 stamps. Don't think you will see them on a cover normally. Just another "moneymaker" for the Post. Even I did buy some.....

Net als veel generatiegenoten opgegroeid met het weekblad Donald Duck. "Onze" TNT heeft er weer goed op ingespeeld. Donald Duck zegels in een verpakking met een aanmeldingskaart voor het bekende weekblad en ook een drietal leuke kaarten. Heb er een aantal aangeschaft, nostalgie dat is zeker. Het weekblad Donald Duck wordt nog regelmatig door de oudere jongeren gelezen, blijft leuk en is vaak ook actueel.

Holidays

Always show a picture of our holidays in France. Did not see any postoffice inside this time. Just away for a week, but very nice and great fish, Carps. You see here 3 photo's from the first evening we just to try to find what is in the lake. Using just some bread we had left from the journey from home.

Indeed a very nice carp . A lot more we did catch in that week, but next thing I show will be some nice stamps.
