Easter cards

Got a nice card from Moscow. Olga did send me good wishes for easter. Maybe a bit early, but I think best wishes are alway's welcome. The card shows two little chickens and some eggs, just the picture I have today in my backyard. Sad to say that there will be only 2 new chickens from this brood. the other eggs were not fertilized. Already have a 7 new eggs and maybe a lady who want to do the new job.

New Chickens

Today the first new chicken arrived. It alway's takes 21 day's, to have new chickens. Of course you also need eggs from a lady who "did" it with a rooster. To morrow I will have some more little ones. I did hear one in an egg, alway's nice and wonderfull to hear someone you are not able to see because he/she did not born yet.

Show a picture from some years ago with maybe the father or mother from my new born chicks.

Personal stamps

We see more and more "personal" stamps on Ebay or other selling places. This one I bought on EBAY. It is a stamp of last year issued with for the stampshow POSTEX, in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands. Don't go to that shows the last 15 years, don't know why. Maybe I see to much that I don't have. Started to collect some of these personals stamps, like them but who knows what are the issue figures? Not that our TNT Mail tells us about their issues.

Cancellations

Got a nice card last weekend. Not at home but where we stayed. Coming from New Zealand with a nice stamp for international mail only. Always find these things odd. You can use the stamp on every mail, national or international I think....

Now we come to the cancellation....How do we get a Dubai postage paid cancel on it. Did the people stopped there and find this card and put it on the mail there? Who knows.

Rotorua a place where people prepared their food in boiling water pools, at no cost at all.

Like that, no costs, maybe Dutch way of life too?

Heemstede

Nothing to do with stamps or chickens. Today show a bulbfield near my birthplace Heemstede. Do also collect old postcards from that place. This field must be near Heemstede. Maybe a new blog to show these cards? Have to wait another 10 days for my new young chickens, let you know and maybe a picture then too.

New chickenstamps(4me)

Some of my new chickenstamps. Did buy them on our last clubmeeting, yesterday. The first two are new for me, the last one I have, only a different number. Do you need them all to be complete?? Special like the stamp from Hong Kong. How long will this rooster live, some one is after his head I think. Very lovely Chickenstamps.

Very nice sheet from Spain. When you look carefully you see also a nice chicken on one of them.

Don't understand Spanish but I think its wonderfull to look at it.

Modern Stamps

Got last week a cover I show you today. The stamp, or is it not a stamp? Is a transparant sheet, the value of this stamp is on the cover. Its a nice piece of technic you see. Do you have a lot of these in the States? How do you collect them? As a complete cover or only the transparant item. If you do the last you don't have a value on it and how can you see it is a postal item??

Brings more questions than answers this cover.....

Nice stamps

Some nice stamps but you must be carefull with them. They are very easy to be damaged. The topcoating is to hard and breaks to soon.

Spring 2007

Did I show this one before? Don't think so. With over 200 POSTS it is getting harder to know what you already put on your blog. March 21th it is Spring, but if you are a weatherman/woman spring started today. We will have 4 of these sheets in 2007, Spring, Summer , and you may guess one time for the orther 2, sorry two times...
It is a nice sheet with two different stamps, however, all different tabs, so we need them all to be complete. Will use them for sending my mail, some of my readers know also were stamps were made for in the old day's.......... have a nice day.
