Beautifull Netherlands- Mooi Nederland

Just found this picture of a ship in Den Helder. Den Helder is a port in the North of Holland and there is where our marine has her ships. In the "Mooi Nederland" serie Den Helder had his issue in 2007.  Last Saterday I was there, not to see these ships but with my sister and brother in law and my wife. The ladies did have a day with friends who also make cards. The men did try to catch some fish in the see. We did not catch any fish but a lot of crabs. I do have a picture of one

of them.

Afgelopen zaterdag naar Den Helder geweest. Je ziet hier een zegel uit de serie Mooi Nederland 2007, waarbij Den Helder ook een uitgave kreeg. Vind het een mooi plaatje ondanks dat alles een beetje grijs overkomt. Met zijn vieren naar Den Helder, de dames voor een dagje met kaartenmakende vriendinnen en de mannen zouden een visje gaan verschalken. Nu dat lijkt makkelijk met zagers van € 4.= per ons, maar we hadden buiten de krabben gerekend. Deze presteerden het binnen twee-drie minuten de haken leeg te hebben. Na wat "oefening" konden we enkele van deze beestjes verschalken. Zie de foto voor een van onze plaaggeesten.

Nice cover from the USofA

Maybe told you before. Blogging and internet is a nice way to make friends all over this globe. Here you see a nice cover with also nice stamps on it. Like the stamps "Art of the American Indian" who are on this cover with my personal USA chickenlogostamps. Inside of this cover some nice stamps I can use for my US collection which I will pay more attention to than I did the last years. Filling gaps in my album. Do you also "filling gaps" in your album(s)?

Zo'n blog en het internet geven veel nieuwe contacten en vrienden die ook op deze globe wonen.

Hier zie je een envelope met o.a. leuke zegels betreffende Amerikaanse Indiaansekunst, naast mijn persoonlijke postzegels welke ik heb laten maken in de States via een andere vriend. In de enveloppe een partijtje zegels die ik mooi kan gebruiken om wat gaten in mijn USA album op te vullen. Ik ben daar nu wat meer mee bezig dan de afgelopen jaren. Gaatjes vullen in het album, een leuke bezigheid en als je gewoon gebruikte zegels spaart en wat geduld kan betrachten dan is het een leuke betaalbare hobby.

Correctie : de nieuwe kuikens komen 5 mei i.p.v. 12 mei.....

About the new chickens

Did receive a question what happens with the other 4 eggs which were in the breedingmachine.

On of the eggs became a chicken but one legg was not good, so end of the chicken....

The other 3 eggs stayed egg and did not have the potention to produce a new chicken.

I have now 22 new eggs in the machine and hope there will be a score of 60% or more for them. Then I have about 18 new little silky's and thats a record for me. Lets wait and see on May 12th.

Van de resterende 4 eieren is er nog een kuiken uitgekomen doch een van zijn pootjes was niet goed en dat is dan het einde voor het kuiken. De andere 3 eieren kwamen gewoon niet uit.

Er liggen inmiddels weer 22 eieren in de machine en als er weer zo'n 60% uitkomt heb ik er 18 en dat is voor mij een nieuw "record". We zien het wel ongeveer 12 mei a.s.

New Chickens, nieuwe kuikens

Here you see the first picture of my new chickens. They are not at home but with other new chickens with a friend who has the breedingmachine. From the 10 eggs I have now 6 new chickens and still 3 eggs in the machine. My chickens are the white ones. Stop for now, my grandchild with her parents did arrive for Easter. Will try to use two languages here in my blog....

Hier zie je mijn nieuwe kuikens, het zijn die witte. Er zijn er 6 stuks nu van de 10 ingelegde eieren. Inmiddels liggen er weer 22 eieren in de broedmachine en als er weer een 60% van uitkomt heb ik er bijna 20 rondlopen en dat is wel genoeg voor dit jaar. Ik denk dat het een record zou zijn. Nu maar hopen dat het niet allemaal mannen zijn. Zal in het vervolg de stukjes in twee talen schrijven.(voornemen...)

New chickens to come

The eggs are in the machine now for almost 20 day's. One day more and we will have some more silkychickens. Cant wait to see them 'when they leave the egg. My friend , who has the breedingmachine, will inform me this weekend, Hope they are at home before Easter, when our grandschild is coming with her parents.
