New Chickens??

Today put 8 eggs under a silky chicken, just wait for 21 day's for new chickens. There also is one chicken thats half way, so only 10 day's for -maybe-  new chickens. Will have a look this week if the rooster did his job.

Zijdehoenhaan

Van een van mijn zijdehoenhanen 2012  heb ik nu ook een persoonlijke postzegel laten maken.

Als hij iets groter geshowd wordt, de postzegel, ziet hij er wat mooier uit dan in het werkelijke formaat.

Ondanks dat is het een leuk zegeltje, nog even in de blauwe uitvoering welke volgens zeggen van PostNL 22 november "uit de handel" wordt genomen, jammer het is een leuke maat en de kleur is ook beter dan dat grijze andere kadergeval. Kleine oplage van 30 stuks en nog even mijn website erbij  gezet. De eerste die reageert krijgt er een toegezonden.

Haan en kip

De kaart hierboven van dochter,schoonzoon en kleinkinderen ontvangen, even op vakantie geweest in Drenthe. Altijd leuk een kaartje en zeker met kippen erop. Dit is een haan en een hen, volgens de tekst achterop een haan en een kip, kan natuurlijk ook. Het zijn 2 kippen, evenals  een hen en een haan. Vaak wordt de dames kip een kip genoemd en de herenkip een haan. Blijft een moeilijke zaak voor de leek.

Hierboven zie je wat dames in onze tuin op zoek naar wat lekkers. We hebben inmiddel van de grote grijze hen afscheid genomen, maar zo is een kippenleven ook. Tijden van komen en gaan.

Roosters

Yesterday I put rings on my new chickens, silkys as you may know as a regular reader of my blog.

This year I have only 6 new chickens and that is not a good result. It could be good but I think I have 5 roosters and one (1) hen out of this 6 chickens. Now its hard to tell with silkys but I have them for several years so I must know a bit about them.

Cover to Thailand

Today I show a cover I bougt on Delcampe. You see two personalized stamps. The tab is the personalized part, the stamp is one that was issued for the stamp exebition BELGICA  in Brussel from 9-15 June 2001.

Maybe the fellow on the tab is called Jean-Paul Groenen.  These personalized stamps I could not find them in the Michel. The stamp with another tab is Michel 3048.  The stamps on the cover fits in two of my collections, personalized stamps an stamps with two currencies but will I soak them off??
BTW did you notice the cancellation when this cover did arrived in Thailand?? They use the Buddhist calender there.

Wachten op nieuwe kuikens

Met een beetje geluk hebben we dinsdag wat nieuwe kuikentjes. Zelf denk ik maximaal 3 stuks (van de 6 eitjes die onder de hen liggen).

In de broedmachine liggen nu 1 week ook 10 eieren, nog niet geschouwd, dus daar is een prognose meer gokken.

en of er dit jaar weer kampioenen bijzitten is natuurlijk helemaal nog niet te zeggen.....

Personalized stamps from Bhutan

Just working on my mail(snail) from December... There was a nice sheet with personalized stamps from Bhutan (Antoni did send me this one)  As you can see there are 3 face values on this sheet. No idea whats that in € or $ (US) Nice to have such a sheet, even nicer when you have a letter from Bhutan with your own personalized stamps.  Bhutan is a Kingdom in the Himalaya , King is  Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck Smoking is not allowed in Bhutan.

Sinterklaas filmposter

Er is inmiddels heel wat over te doen, de filmposter met Sinterklaas erop. Het is dan ook een ander soort Sint dan wij kennen. Dick Maas heeft een horror Sint opgevoerd in de film. Hier een kleine afbeelding van de -inmiddels beruchte- poster op een persoonlijke postzegel.

De TNT heeft er , net als de rechter, geen moeite mee.

In de horror Sint bindt Frank (Egbert-Jan Weeber) de strijd aan met de moordlustige Niklas (Huub Stapel), een uit de dood herrezen bisschop, die het begrip kindervriend een geheel nieuwe invulling geeft. Frank wordt daarin bijgestaan door zijn vriendin Lisa (Caro Lenssen) en de politierechercheur Goert (Bert Luppes).

Christmas Gift

Here you see Isa, our grandchild. Got this sheet with personalized stamps yesterday as a christmas gift, Very nice -of course- a stamp with also chickens on it.

Exhibition

Not of stamps but small animals , like rabbits and chickens. Just finish it after a busy week. Only have to update the website from Dodewero, but will do that now too.

New chickens to come

The eggs are in the machine now for almost 20 day's. One day more and we will have some more silkychickens. Cant wait to see them 'when they leave the egg. My friend , who has the breedingmachine, will inform me this weekend, Hope they are at home before Easter, when our grandschild is coming with her parents.

Will keep you informed about the new chickens.

New Chickens

Here you see a "first day chicken" , no cancellation on it. I breed 3 of these, they are called Brahma. It's a great type of chicken and the first time I have these. I have had one chicken for a week and kept the eggs, put them in the machine (4 pcs) and have 3 little one's now. Hope it are no roosters, but that's hard to see now for me. Will show you more later. Also have a lot of stampstuff to take care of.
