Vraagteken

Bij de laatste partij voor Game 531 van The Stamp Game zat er een zegel bij waar niet duidelijk was waar hij vandaan kwam. Er staat   geen waarde en/of landsaanduiding op. Het thema dan de rondzending, Flowers of Plants staat er wel op.  Is het een afbeelding uit een blok zegels ? Welk land ? Zoekplaatje dus, Zal beginnen met het hier neer te zetten.

Zoekplaatjes tussen de postzegels

Als je zo'n zegel tegenkomst in je grote voorraad 5 cents zegels vraag je je soms af of het een bijzondere zegel is. Duidelijk is dat hij uit Duitsland komt, doch het zou bij de eerste blik ook een cinderella kunnen zijn. Nationale verzamelaarsiets zo te zien. Nergens een waardeteken, wel de 30, op de zegel en in het logo/afbeelding die gebruikt is. Even op de FB club van de cinderellaspaarders gezet met de vraag hoe of wat. Zelf nog wat vergrotingen bekeken en maar even de Michel Duitsland ( 1998/1999) erbij gepakt.  Blijkt het toch een zegel te zijn uit 1919 uitgegeven wegens de heropening van de Nationale Verzameling in Weimar. 4 zegels met Sinnbildische Darstellungen, Vertalen lijkt lastig voor de digitale woordenboeken. Maar zinnebeeldige voorstellingen zal vast wel in de buurt komen.

Ongebruikt DM 0,30 eg gebruikt DM 4,50 zegt de oude catalogus. Iets meer dan een vijfcentszegel.

cinderella's

Did bought a lot of cinderellas on EBAY last week. Sorting them out there was one chicken on a minisheet. Maybe i's a real stamp, did not have time to look at that. A lot of other nice things, did see also "real" stamps in it. Show a -very-  small part of them here. A lot of USA things too.

Leuk partijtje op EBAY aangeschaft, wel cinderella's. Na het uitsorteren bleek er toch een "kippending" tussen te zitten.  Moet nog uitzoeken of het een echte postzegel is, deze zitten er ook nog tussen evenals enkele stadspostzegels. Veel Amerikaans Boys Town spul ook. Best een uitzoekwaardig geheel. Na de vakantie, dat wel. Grooter plaatje ? even erop dubbelklikken..

Back in town

It does take some time, beeing a grandfather. Back at home I show you some stamps. Do have a lot of other pictures of Isa but that's not for this blog.

This a sheet of 3 poultry CTO's, pictures cancelled to order. A lot of countries also called these products stamps. They won't see a letter but only the people who collect them. Because they have chickens on them, or trains, or butterflies and a lot more. Do we need these products?

If we still buy these things they will appear every week/month/year. This sheet was a present for me, just because I collect chickenstamps. Thanks to Antonio who also manage the stampkidssite..

Halloween stamps.

Do we have halloweenstamps ? Yes we have, Belgium and also France do have that kind of stamps. In Europe Halloween is not such a big issue.

A nice Belgian stamp, Belgium issued a booklet of ten self-adhesive stamps with two designs in 2004 to celebrate Halloween, show you one of these stamps.

Chicken cinderella

New issue next September 3rd in The Netherlands. 3 stamps of € 0,44 use in our country till 20grams cover or card. The weeks of the card is a yearly issue from a miniheet. This time a poem of a famous Dutch writer. Jan Wolkers. But the most important part of the sheet is of course his autograph and drawing of a CHICKEN, which is a tab on the last stamp.

Just can't wait for that 3rd of September...........

Danish Cinderella

Nice example of a cinderella. Danish with a chicken on it. Alfred Jacobsens, Danske Billedböger it says, nr 251. Google does not give more information. The smoking cock is writing ABC with smoke. Maybe a cigaretbrand? Nice gift for my birthday,(May) show you more in the next day's.

Posterstamp from Danmark

Just hard to find the way to my blog. After all those weeks in France is is strange to have a computer and television in your home. Did not miss it at all. Nice cinderella from Danmark. Don't have it in my collection.

Balloon stamp and tabs

Very nice stamp from Spain. Issued 22th March 2006. It is a serie of sports who are on the edge of the nonpossible. That is a TV program in Spain. How to collect these stamps and tabs. Do we call them tabs or cinderella? One stamp and 3 ???. It is good that you have to pay € 0,28 for this nice block. Also gives a nice picture. They where on a very nice cover with also some more of these kind. On the € 0,29 stamp you see moutainbikers on the Pyrenees, very nice if you collect bikes...

Tax stamps

So I got that USA box on the auction of my stampclub. Today a lot of rain, so also some stamp time. Found a few Motor Vehicles Stamps of $5.00. This one was for a Ford 21C as you can see. It expires on June 30th 1945, but did not disappear....

Do I have any value here?

Sometimes you buy somthing and it is not what you expected. This is a picture from a book of Nestle. Must be an old one album. The French text on the back is almost gone. Something like LES MERVEILLES DU MONDE , Wonders/beautys of the World....Nice to read that chickens are on of the wonders of the world.

Plymouth Rocks

This is a very nice cinderella. Shows Plymouth Rocks chickens. On the stamp(may we call this so???) is in German the text : Creolin Medol may not missing in every poultry house. Advertisment stamps, there are a lot and they are hard to get, so valuable.
Nice chickentype Plymouth Rocks. At the first American Poultry-show in Boston ( 1849) there seem to have been some lage cuckoo-like fowls on display. In 1874 the barred Plymouth Rock were admitted to the American Standard. In 1880 the first Rocks came to England and in 1882 to The Netherlands.
They do go broody. The light-brown eggs weight 60-70 gram. The chickens 3000-4750 gramme.
