Rembrandt Joint Issue with Germany

This stamps are in what we(our Post) call here "prestigebooklet". This booklet contains Dutch stams as wel a Germany stamp with the same picture as the Dutch stamp. The stamp is also availeble in Germany in MS of 10 pcs. Of course "(!?)!"there are a lot of differences between the stamps. Prices are out of proportion I think. On a blogg site here there is a lot of spectulation for the price these booklets will do into one year. Oldest stamp with a chicken.

This is the stamp from some day's ago. Chickens and also some ducks. I don't collect them but some people do send them with chickenstamps. So I have also duckstamps. Saw on Eric's blogg (see my links) that he is looking for the eldest stamp with a frog on it. Thanks for that idea, going for the oldest chickenstamp. Maybe the Dutch serie with the frog from 1950 is a good start.
I do have a serie of France with a cock on them. Could not find it in the cataloque. Show the 30 cents version. In that serie there is also a stamp from Algeria. What year we talking about ??

Yes, thats normaly the thing whats happen. Not at the moment. Just want to show a stamp with a chicken from Trinidad and Tobago. Even there we have chickens. Just like people they are every where. My own "real" silky's are growing well. Have to sort them out. Which one I keep, which I have to sell. Hope there are people who want to have them. At the end of the year we have to put them under a roof again, I think. The flue, even if its not there(here), the economics want that we do so, because whats more important in this world ? Indeed the $$$$$$$$$$ and €€€€€€€€€€€. Maybe we need more BRAINS in our Goverments, but thats hopefull wishing.. Maybe the picture later.

French chickencard

Still have one chick from France, show it to you all. If some-one have the translation of the text, let me know. Also saw on the JimmyB blogg that there is a French stamp ( € 1.12) with some nude people and some cocks. I did not know that otherwise I try to get this stamp at the French post-office. Now I have ot try to get that stamp in an other way. If you have some chickenthings, let me know. There is always something to trade...............

Left overs from holiday in France

During the holidays in France I bought some nice stamps for sending some cards to friends and family. I show you the nice stamps of drawings in the Grottes de Rouffignac. If you like to have one (MNH) send me a mail first. The first 4 people can have one in exchange for a nice card or so, with of course, if possible, a chicken or chickenstamp on it. We still have here 30 Celsius in Holland, just holiday at home. To hot for stamping or blogging....

France Domestic Animals

Back from holiday's. Did not reach Spain, we did stay in France. Always visit the Post Office there to find nice stamps. For the postcards and also others, just for fun or trade. There was a nice MS, or call we it a BS (Big Sheet) with domestic animals. Sorry for me the French don't find chickens domestic. It has to say that it is a nice sheet with some nice animals. If you collect them, they are still in the French post office...(lol) Will show some more stamps to-morrow with drawings from the Grotte de Rouffignac. If you like one, let me know.
