How far you can go with a thematic collection? I think very. Nice item for my chickenstampcollection don't you think. Like these French stamps with food. This must be a Bresse chicken, very famous in France. Of course I am not sure but it is nice to think so. A chapon is a male chicken. Show the French text maybe you understand ... Le chapon est un poulet mâle castré et spécialement élevé pour une plus grande tendreté. Sa masse est plus élevée que celle d'un poulet normal. So very special, never eat such a bird...

Niewe haan-new cock

Here my new cock-rooster. Hier mijn nieuwe haan.  Hope he will like the ladies. Weet het wel zeker dat hij ze leuk vindt. Now waiting for eggs with his stamp on them. Hij 'doet" het wel met de hennen.

New cock and chickenstamp

Last week I got a new silky cock, hope the ladies will like him and he them too.. Will show a photo later.

Also found a nice stamp with chickendrawings on it from Poland. Issued 2003 but never see it before. I am not a guy that looks everywere to see what stamps were issued of my topic(s). Just wait and see what come on my way. When I count right I see about 7 chickens and a lot of eggs, big and small. Also colourfull. Alway's like new chickenstamps, so if you have, maybe we can exchange.

Modern Architecture

Nice sheet with the complete serie US Modern Architecture. Did this one in exchange for other stamps, I like that and its a good way to trade with friends around the globe. Even it has no cancellation I will put it in my US collection. I did not see these in a used version, maybe its because 37cents was for use inside de US of A.
Just having a break with cleaning the chickencoop and place around it. 
Do have a silky on 8 eggs for a week now, to late for Easterchickens but in time for the show in October.... Will look next week if the cock is able to do his work right....
