Antoni Wisnicki

Yesterday on Facebook it became clear for his friends. He is not with us anymore. Died in January on cancer, mostly a battle you wont win.  It was a great philatelic friend for a lot of people and I do have a lot of memories about him. This is a nice cover for instance with the stamps he issued at special dates 10-10-2010, 11-11-2011.  As you see there is an example for 2012, wiith a questionmark at the place the stamp has to come.....

Think it was a double questionmark for him as you know what I mean.

May he rest in peace.

Mail from Poland

Today I did work a lot. Have a ride to Hamburg to deliver a cardbox with some samples in it. When I got back from the 911 km trip there were two covers in the mail. First a nice one with a minisheet with a sailingship. In that cover new stamps for The Stamp Game, always nice stamps to exchange. The second was the cover I mailed on Febr 27th to my friend Antoni, this cover was zwrot/retour and no indication why. On the back a sticker with cancellation 29021207. Sad to don't know what happens with Antoni, also no reactions on FB. Some personalized stamps on and in the cover.

Cover and stamps from Poland

This week a nice cover from Poland, thanks Antoni. Two great personalized stamps on it. Insite also some nice personalized sta,ps stamps, also from Poland. Special for me is the stamp from Gibraltar, new country for me with my first personalized stamp of that country, or city, what you like. Show them below.

When I have not that much time for stamping I put my mail on a place I have to sort out and look carefully at it. Today I found a nice sheet (saw it before, open always daily my mail.(snail I mean) from Antoni.

Have to find out if these are also personal stamps. Like the design, Maybe write more later, have to work now..

Card from Bhutan

Nice card with personalized stamps from Bhutan. You see the CCCC members who were in Poland in May 2011.  Think it was a nice meeting, was not there...Thanks to Antoni for this great card. Did receive this one yesterday. Maybe I have also to "go" for personalized stamps from other countries with my chickenstamplogo..?
