Just show you my real Silky Chickens. Maybe I collect them too. You see a part of one of the family's I have now. Just have to put a ring on the little ones today, after the holiday's that is not possible because they still growing every day and night. Oke one more..........

Holiday mode

Think I am in the holidaymode into a few day's. All the places on these stamps we have visit already. This year we are going to Spain, but to get there you have to travel also in France. Maybe stay there if the weather is nice and will not reach the Spanish Mountains..... Click on the picture to make it bigger....probably you now...

Something wrong ??

Got an envelope with some nice stamps in it as a birthday gift. I am a member by ANSC and also a member of the Birthday club there. The envelope was in a plastic bag with a special sticker on it RM it says with the name of a department of our TPG Post. Have no idea what that is about. There was no damage or so so why they pick it out of the normal mail ???? Show you the package and also the unpacked letter, as you see one stamp is a bit folded and not collectable any more I think. If any one knows what happens??? Let me know.

50 Years Heartbreak Hotel

50 years ago Elvis has his first European nr 1 hit. The Post here has an issue on 06-06-06 ( good thinking!!!) with has two Elvis stamps , 4x2 other stamps and 5 cinderella's with explanation why. All the stamps are the choice of the Dutch people. Also show the compleet sheet.

From Old to New

European stamps with old currency and Euro, a new topic I started a few months ago.
It are only stamps with an issue lenght from a year or so. 12 European countries exchange their currency for a new one EURO (€) and to make it easier for the common man we did have the two different currencies on one stamp. In The Netherlands also, the year 2001 was that year.
A nice little area to collect, never new issues again!!! If you know how many stamps were issued from your country that time, let me know. I don't have stamps from Austria, Finland and Luxemburg from that period. Maybe this countries did not have such stamps. Show you some, the most of France, that reason must be the comming holydays. La douce France is our destination we went to, maybe with a week in Spain. If you have stamps from this topic to exchange, let me know. Have a nice day..

Just received a phonecard with a singing rooster from the 1999 show. Just missed that, did not know there was a show. Now I have a nice phone card with a quit rooster on it. My roosters are "singing" every day. They don't need a gitar to turn the neighbours on...
