Easter and little chickens

To have little chickens with Easter you (!) have to start 3 weeks before with putting egg's under a
klokhen (English?) The cock had to do his work before that and you have to save the brood eggs. Turn them every day, that is the best way to keep them "fresh".
I put yesterday 11 little eggs under a mum to come.
Hope we have some new chicks at Easter.
Flue or not the flue, that is still the question in our small country. Around us (Germany, France) they already have it.
I think it is from all times, flue. Now we check every dead little bird. It is so that when your looking good you alway's can find something.
