Channel Chicken

The first picture is the front of the cover and indeed, the second is the back.

Very nice item I got from a friend who like to finds chickens on stamps for me.

The cover is from France, Soulac-sur-Mer  to great Brittain, Hampshire. The stamps with the lion(GB) and cock (France) are in blocks of 4, two in each value. Issued in 1994 when the famous tunnel was opened.

I like these stamps, even if they had no cock on them. Its a very nice join issue.
